The Seoul Royal Guard Changing Ceremony is a vibrant reenactment of the historical duty of the royal guards from the Joseon Dynasty, taking place in front of the Deoksugung Palace. Visitors can hear the ceremonial drums and witness the colorful uniforms, making it a lively spectacle that brings history to life.

This event runs six days a week, excluding Mondays, with ceremonies at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. In addition to the main event, there are engaging experience programs like 'I Am a Royal Guard' where you can wear the guard's uniform, and 'Start of Ceremony' where you can participate in the drum ceremony. The 'Traditional Costume Experience' allows you to dress in Joseon-era attire and take memorable photos.
