  • Citizen Procession: Citizens selected through prior application participate in the procession wearing Joseon Dynasty attire. This is a program that commemorates King Jeongjo's desire to communicate with the people.
  • Mieum Daban: This program recreates the scene where the King shared food with the people and communicated with them. Food that the people of that time would have tasted is provided to citizens.
  • Jeongjo History Concert: A concert that unravels the life of King Jeongjo and the meaning of the Royal Parade through music and stories, blending traditional music and fusion Korean music.

How to Get There

  • Subway: Take Subway Line 3 to Gyeongbokgung Station, Exit 5, which is close to the event venue. You can also access it from Gwanghwamun Station, Exit 2 on Subway Line 5.
  • Bus: You can easily access the venue by getting off at the Gwanghwamun or Gyeongbokgung Palace bus stops. On the day of the event, some bus routes may be detoured or bus stops may be temporarily closed, so please check Seoul's public transportation information in advance.
  • Parking: There is no dedicated festival parking lot around Gyeongbokgung Palace, so you will have to use nearby paid public or private parking lots. We recommend the Sejongno Public Parking Lot and the Twin Tree Tower Parking Lot near Gwanghwamun.

Parking may be difficult on the day of the event due to traffic control and large crowds. Therefore, using public transportation is the most sensible option. Also, some special experience programs may have a participation fee, so please check in advance. There are plenty of cultural heritage sites and restaurants near Gyeongbokgung Palace, so after enjoying the festival, complete a special day in the heart of Seoul.
