Get a Refund Right at the Airport

You can get a refund for your T-money card at Incheon or Gimpo Airport before your departure. Convenience stores near the subway ticket machines offer refund services, but the important thing to remember is that there is a fee.

The biggest advantage of getting a refund at the airport is the convenience. You don't have to drag your luggage around looking for a subway station. However, you have to pay a fee, so it might not be worth it if you don't have much balance left.

If you want to get a refund without a fee, use a subway station customer center. Most stations on lines 1-9 have a customer center where you can get a free refund.
