Don't Miss the Seoul World City Culture Festival 2026!

What if you could experience cultures from around the globe right in the heart of Seoul? The Seoul World City Culture Festival is making Seoul the center of the world for two whole days! From May 9th to 10th, 2026, this festival at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the cultures and flavors of various countries.

Main Programs

• Performances: The opening ceremony on May 9th will feature performances by multinational teams. World busking will also take place, allowing you to enjoy performances from various countries in a relaxed atmosphere.
• Cultural Experiences: The Embassy Zone, with participation from various embassies, offers the chance to try on traditional clothing and experience games from around the world. There will also be a World City Cinema and a World Video & Photo Exhibition.
• Food: Sample representative dishes from around the world in the World Food Zone and World Dessert Zone. A K-FOOD ZONE will also be operated separately.

Getting There

• Public Transportation: The subway is the most convenient option. Get off at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, which is directly connected to DDP. Lines 2, 4, and 5 stop here. Take Exit 1, and you'll see the entrance to DDP right away.
• Bus: Search for 'Dongdaemun History & Culture Park' bus stop to see a list of available routes.
• Car & Parking: Enter 'Dongdaemun Design Plaza' into your navigation system to be directed to the DDP underground parking lot. However, traffic may be congested during the festival, so we recommend using public transportation.
